Krugersdorp Town School opened on 4 June 1901 while education in the town was being reshaped during the Anglo-Boer War. It began with limited facilities and used a succession of buildings, including the old Temperance Hall.
As Krugersdorp grew, the school moved from its early CBD accommodation to its present Quellerie Park campus. It celebrated 125 years in 2026 and remains an active primary school.
